I'm Rex, originally from the UK, in 2025 I went to American college to study and play college soccer.
From the beginning the entire process was filled with stress and confusion - my visa was denied, my travel delayed, my family spent thousands of dollars they were never informed about, I had no idea how my degree worked, what the lifestyle was going to be like.
So I took it upon myself to figure out how everything worked (most people never do) - as a result, I got my degree 2 years early, saved over $60,000, transferred schools independently, competed in the NCAA and NAIA and learned so much along the way.
